A precious star has fallen from among us. Miss Jade Alinda was born to the late Mr. Delvin D. Adams and Mrs. Ameshia Darden on March 25, 2008. Jade was cherished from birth because of her spirited personality and her resemblance to her paternal grandmother Belinda Joyce. Jade was a freshman at Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia. She loved to sing, dance, talk on her phone, and to eat. Her grandmother Gayonne affectionately called her “Eatum Up” because of her love of food. Jade found a passion for knitting and making bracelets for her family and friends.

Those awaiting her in Heaven are her father Mr. Delvin D. Adams, grandmother Ms. Belinda Chambliss Adams, and great-grandparents Ms. Cornelia Glass and Mr. Rufus Adams.

Left to cherish her memories: her mother, Mrs. Ameshia (Derrick) Mann; her grandparents: Ms. Gayonne McLaurin, Mr. Albert (Joann) Adams, and Mr. Anthony (Sabrina) Darden Sr.; her great-grandparents: Mr. Willie Darden Jr. and Mrs. Thelma Darden; her siblings: Aubrianna Darden, Kiley Darden, Zuri Bady, Madalyn Darden, and Zoey Mann; her aunts: Sona (William) Brown, Meka (Anthony) Smith, Myrna (Willie) Wilbon, Sonja (Kerry) Williamson, Danena (Antonia) Lewis, Mary Alice Adams, Margaret Adams, Naomi Adams, Lillian Adams, Annie (Marvin) Hughes, Debra Adams, Patrice Adams, and Angela Adams; two devoted aunts: Tracy (Jimmy) Gordon and Laskesia (Felicia) McClardy; one great-great aunt, Mrs. Lois Kelly; her uncles: Anthony L. Darden, Emmanuel (Sherita) Darden, Na'il Darden, Quinthony (Jackie) Darden, Dexter (Tanisha) Darden, Willie (Autumn) Darden, Joseph (Tasha) Darden, Ernest (Mary J.) Adams, Robert (Linda) Adams, Wallace (Pamela) Adams, Clifford (Cathy) Adams, James Adams, and Lawrence Gay. A host of cousins, relatives, and friends survive and carry forth her legacy of love.

The Funeral Service for Jade will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at Friendship Baptist Church in Americus, Georgia. Burial will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery in Smithville, Georgia.

Aunties "Jade A'Mae"! I'm going to really miss you baby girl. Your infectious smile and caring heart were everything! This is soo hard for us knowing we have to live life without you. You had so much potential to be whatever you wanted to be in life, but God had other plans for you. I will help look after your sisters as they were your pride and joy (when they weren't getting on your nerves) and the love you had for them was endless. Fly High Baby Girl and until we meet again auntie Loves You!!
