The Funeral Service for Mr. Maraquivious De’Andre Hosley of Plains, Georgia will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at the Lebanon Baptist Church, Plains, Georgia with Bishop Arthur Fulton officiating.
Maraquivious De’Andre Hosley, known as “Cuervo”, was born October 29, 1993, to the parentage of Lamarcus Hosley and Biancia Bridges in Sumter County, Georgia. He was a 2012 graduate of Americus-Sumter High School. He joined the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Coley Clark. He worked at Macon State Prison for 6 ½ years as a correctional officer/sergeant. He enjoyed sitting around family and friends just enjoying life. He departed this life on September 9, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lora Ann Hosley; grandfather, Tommy Lee Bridges; great-grandparents: Governor Wilson, Sr., Lillie Mae Wilson, Walter Bridges, Sr., and Geneva Jackson Bridges; aunts: Antionette Bridges and Patricia Streeter; uncle, Timothy Mable, Sr.; and godson, Devonte Marquis Harper, Jr.
He leaves precious memories with his family which includes his wife, Parisha Hosley; his children: Noah Hosley, Novah Hosley, Ariana Mosley, London Jones, Eryn Brown and Braylon Hosley; his pet snake, Killer Hosley; his beautiful mother, Biancia Bridges (Clifford Jones); his father, Lamarcus Hosley; his bonus mother, Shambrell Hosley; his bonus father, Kentrolis Tyson; his sisters and brothers: Zyshonna Tyson of Leary, Georgia, Keontae Tyson, Breonna Tyson and Kahleyce Hosley of Plains, Georgia, Lakeria Hosley, Ivyana Jones, and Nakeba Thornton of Americus, Georgia; his grandparents: Sandra (Elder Steven) Anderson and Beverly (Robert) Redding of Plains, Georgia, and Priscilla (Kenneth) Johnson of Leary, Georgia; his aunts: His Hi'Te Lakenya (John) Bridges, Towanda (Otis) Ford, Natasha (Twan) Mable, Trissa (John) Smith of Americus, Georgia, Kiwanis (Zavier) Booker, Ylencia Milledge, Shamekia (Traveno) Jackson of Albany, Georgia, Latasha (Carl) Grimes of Morgan, Georgia, and Miyaka Jones of Smithville, Georgia; his uncles: Xsaivious (Demetricus) Bridges, Kelvin (Andrica) Streeter, Christopher (Emily) Ford of Americus, Georgia of Americus, Georgia, Mark (Sonya) Bridges of Preston, Georgia, and Donovan Banks of Athens Georgia, Levin Myers, Garry Myers, Derric Myers and Nard Ford; a host of nieces and nephews; his mother-in-love, Carla Jones of Panama City, Florida; his father-in-love, Parish (Caressa) Majors, Sr. of Albany, Georgia; sisters-in-love: Laporche Jones, Cashyra Wilson of Americus, Georgia, Byanca Jones of Atlanta, Georgia, Kaniya Moses of Panama City, Florida, and Kiara Majors of Dawson, Georgia; brothers-in-love: Altravius Jones of Preston, Georgia, Parish Major, Jr. and Khayden Majors of Americus, Georgia; his extended family: The Hollis/Cross Family, The Kitchens Family, and the whole PG Family of Plains, Georgia; Diane (Joe) Monts of Americus, Georgia; godparents: Dexter Mack, Deyawnday Williams and Thaddeous Hall; goddaughter, Kewanda Ford; a host of other relatives and friends.
