The funeral service for PFC Joe Louis Reynolds of Americus, Georgia will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville, Georgia with Pastor Leroy Reynolds officiating.
PFC Joe Louis Reynolds was born on November 11, 1952 in Sumter County, Georgia to the late Mr. Willie J. Reynolds, Sr. and the late Mrs. Rose B. Reynolds. He served honorably in the U. S. Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. PFC Reynolds died on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Americus, Georgia.
PFC Reynolds leaves to cherish his memories his wife; Hattie Reynolds of North Carolina, three sons: Rodney (Laytrina) Brown of Austell, Georgia, Terrell Reynolds of Union City, Georgia and Marcus Reynolds of North Carolina; two step daughters: Latrena Sims of Americus, Georgia and Michelle Wallace of North Carolina; two brothers: Leroy (Annie) Reynolds of Vienna, Georgia and Willie James (Martha) Reynolds of Americus, Georgia; one sister, Bessie Thomas of Americus, Georgia; one brother-in-law, Johnny Wright of Preston, Georgia; four aunts: Frances Burton of Macon, Georgia, Doris Baker, Mamie Baker and Mamie Reynolds of Americus, Georgia; one uncle, Phillip Reynolds of Americus, Georgia; a niece that was reared as a sister, Aretha Ross (Sylvester) Hallmon of Albany, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
