The Graveside Service for Jordan Mykel Barker affectionately known as “Doodle” will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 3:30 P.M. at Babyland in Eastview Cemetery.

Jordon Mykel Barker was born on Friday, December 28, 2018. He touched many lives throughout his short but memorable life. He had a smile that could light up any room. Doodle enjoyed listening to others sing and talk. He also enjoyed watching his brother play around the house. He was granted his angel wings on Thursday, March 28, 2019. Although his humble spirit and sweet smile will be missed, his short life was one to be celebrated.

Left with cherished memories of Doodle are his loving parents: Johnny Barker, Jr. and Dearia Jordon of Americus, Georgia; grandparents: Tameka Jordan Smith of Americus, Georgia, Keithon and Melissa Patterson of Cape Coral, Florida, Doretha Morgan of Manhattan, New York and Johnny Barker, Sr. of Americus, Georgia; great-grandparents: Richard Varner, Inez Jordan, Ella Barker, Fleeola Morgan and Patricia Jackson; sisters and brothers: Tyquetta Clemmons and Tobias Barker of Americus, Georgia, Shavonta Barker and Shantavia Barker of Columbia, South Carolina and Savarus Paschal of Albany, Georgia; aunts: Brittany Durham and Shateria Smith of Americus, Georgia, Nikeria Smith of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Kiwante Morgan of Preston, Georgia; devoted aunts: Earnestine Mercer and Viola Fann of Americus, Georgia; uncles: Kewan Morgan of Plains, Georgia and Travious Smith of Americus, Georgia; Godparents: Makeba Fann, Jessica Watts and Eddie Berryhill of Americus, Georgia; devoted cousins: Shaniya Wright, Dontavious Jackson, Wardarious Wright and Jarkell Fann of Americus, Georgia; a host of other great aunts, great uncles and cousins.
