The Graveside Service for Mr. Larry Gordon of Americus, Georgia will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Eastview Cemetery, Americus, Georgia.
Mr. Larry Gordon was born in Sumter County, Georgia on August 3, 1957 to the late Louise and Norman Gordon. He received his education in the Sumter County public school system. Mr. Gordon passed away on March 19, 2019. He was preceded in death by his son, two sisters and one brother: Antonio Foster, Sarah Gordon, Debra Wallace and Kenny Gordon (Frances Gordon).
Memories of his life will forever be cherished by his two daughters: Latonya Wafford (Gregory Burns) and Shyquanda Gordon of Americus, Georgia; two sisters: Ruby Evette (Dwight) Gordon Christmas of Atlanta, Georgia and Robenna Robinson of Americus, Georgia; five brothers: Craig (Lisa) Gordon of Smyrna, Georgia, Tyrone Gordon of Florida, Herman (Rhonda) Stephens, Charlie Gordon and Rufus Gordon of Americus, Georgia; three aunts: Rosa Hicks of Americus, Georgia, Martha (Charlie) Harvey of Americus, Georgia and Catherine Taylor of Newark, New Jersey; three uncles: James (Helen) Gordon, Jimmy (Tracy) Gordon and Rodney (Stacey) Gordon all of Americus, Georgia; twelve grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many loved ones and friends, including a devoted friend Zachery Drains; a devoted nephew, Timothy “Scoop” Wallace and niece Andrea Gordon.
