My heart goes out to you all for the loss of your dear loved one.It is comforting to know that there are promises to look forward to by means of God's Kingdom. One of these wonderful promises is in the Bible at Isaiah 25:8... the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will swallow up death forever and will wipe away the tears from all faces. I hope that scripture can be a means of comfort and provide you all hope as well throughout your grief.
